Since this dog has already been gone for several days, I am hoping that you have already taken all necessary steps and have been searching day and night for this dog. By now, this dog should be posted in all local neighborhood Facebook groups, Lost and Found Pets Detroit, For the Love of Louie *Michigan Lost Pet Lookers*, Nextdoor, and the Ring app. By now, all area shelters should have been visited in person. If this dog is microchipped, call the company to report the dog lost and ensure that they have the updated contact information. If this dog is not microchipped and has been picked up as a stray, the dog will be placed up for adoption within four days if the dog is also not wearing a collar- so that means tomorrow if the dog was picked up on the 8th- the day this dog was lost. This is why it is important to visit area shelters daily. Signs should be up all over the area that the dog went missing. You might consider contacting a Pet recovery group as well.
