I'm so sorry about your kitty. Here are some tips that helped me find my little guy when he got out. My kitty got out in the middle of winter for 11 days. I put flyers out everywhere and some very nice friends of a friend of mine saw my flyers and said he was living under their outside stairs. Flyers work. Also I was told to go out at night when it's quiet and call your kitty calmly. They are scared when outside even if it's your voice they hear so shouting or calling loudly isn't recommended. Also using a flashlight while looking in garages and bushes helps. Cats eyes glow when a light beams on them. Shaking treat bags can help too. Don't do a litterbox that can attract dangerous animals that could hurt Kitty. You can do a piece of dirty laundry of yours that they can be attached too. One more thing also is to get a humane trap from a local shelter and put the smelliest food inside. Believe it or not KFC chicken has helped attract cats more than any food lol. Also cameras can help also to see if your baby comes around when you're not home. I wish you the best of luck and hope. 💜💜💜💜

Keep calling him he knows your voice … their sense of smell is 32 times greater than ours so walk around your area and hopefully he will pick up your scent 🙏❤️ Shared with prayers for his safety

Put bedding outside as a scent. Have neighbors check cellars sheds garages and vehicles. They get trapped. Look under porches and sheds etc. Have a Heart trap with tuna. Cover trap with blanket and watch trap. Look at night often with flashlight. Check attics drawers and in trees 🌲. Culverts. Flyers everywhere. Check town authorities and vets. Look at lost and found pet sites shelters in case brought in. Craigslist too. Get kids you know to help look. Check behind walls and insulation. Abandoned buildings. Leave the door open for cat or window.
