Description

Almost 5 years old. Grey, striped, male cat. He is neutered, NOT chipped, nor is he wearing his collar as he lost while escaping. Mild-mannered, non-aggressive, friendly indoor cat named Bodie. Not familiar with the area as he moved here just over a year ago from Southern California.

Message from Owner

Bodie is an indoor cat, is friendly but may be skittish around strangers. He LOVES Temptations Cat Treats! No known medical issues. Not chipped, knows his name, his nickname is "Bo-Bo." He has a family of cats at who miss him deeply, but I believe that I miss him most, he was my now deceased husband's cat who he loved very much! We rescued him at three weeks old in 2021. Please be on the lookout for Bodie, or if you have verifiable information on his whereabouts, details are greatly appreciated, thank you!

Bonnie Canavan I posted on other sites. Unfortunately, I ASSumed that he would come back on his own by now. I'm going door-to-door passing out flyers. Shaking his treats. Looking i bushes, etc. All that stuff. 🤞

Kenny Pearson The SPCA is 15 miles from here. It's doubtful that someone turned him in there.

If he is an indoor only cat he will not go far. He is hiding close by and will be elusive. Walk up and down your neighborhood while shaking your favorite bag of food or treats or whatever brings your kitty running to you at all times of morning , day and night. You may also want to consider using one of those toy laser lights at night to bring your cat out of hiding. Knock on neighbor’s doors and give them a good contact number in case they see him. Very important in case they are stuck in a garage or shed or God forbid even hurt. Not everyone will see your fliers and post. If you have a garage or front door, leave it cracked open just enough for kitty and leave bedding or clothing that has your scent, also leave food and water, but be aware of predators. Remember in most cases, he will be close by, so don’t give up and keep looking. You may want to consider borrowing or buying a humane trap. Be persistent and consistent and most importantly, Don’t Stop Looking! Not all cats will just show up at your door. It took us over a month to get our kitty home with the help of neighbors. God Bless you and your fur babies. Be aware of scammers. They ask for number codes and money.
