The sweet girl came wandering on our street and came right to us. We walked around the vicinity to see if she knew where Home was. We have her sitting at the corner where we are watching her to see if her owner comes by! We will keep her safe as long as we can and see if she’s chipped as soon as able.

Angie Strickland Another post of this dog said that AC scanned on site & said they would get the dog back to the owner because she had a chip. So maybe they couldn't get in touch with them immediately so taken to WCAC? Not sure

Tracy O'Berry Probably had a microchip. Reason always suggest scanning before taking to a shelter saves time and money! Though I do see a comment where the dog lives in these comments. Regardless microchipped now if was not. Hopefully reclaimed and not pulled off adoption floor.

Caitlyn someone reached out to me just after WC shelter took her and gave me that address. I called animal control and told them that the owner had reached out. They never called back I hoped the reached out to owner. I left my number and their number and then I just learned today that she is in custody at the shelter. I just sent the person who reached out the information again.
