Kristy Bowman they have to give the owner time to reclaim - after the hold the dog will likely be available for adoption. I made this original post- she’s a sweetheart and did seem to be in good shape other than being time for a haircut

I called this afternoon and was told the owner had been contacted but the dog would NOT be going up for adoption because it was a stray. What dogs DO go up for adoption??? Are they not all strays???? Made no sense to me.
