Message from Finder

Found this turtle in our yard August 21st and it disappeared before we could get it. Found again today must have been living in the yard somewhere this past month. Just seen it again today. Please send us a picture you have to match. Thank you

I would love to have him and give him my love

That's a Texas Gopher Tortoise, not a Pet and is protected. The reason they saw it so often is because it lives around there or someone else picked it up as well. Please do not give to anyone but a rehabber if cannot be returned to the area it was found.

There is Nature's Edge Rescue in Cleburne. They should be able to help.
