I was working today when this little guy almost got hit by a car, I was able to safely get him to my car and asked the surrounding roads if anyone recognized him. I brought him to the vet and he unfortunately doesn’t have a microchip, all I hope for is for this guy to find his owner so he doesn’t end up in a shelter

Isn't there a dog adoption on Toby rd in Bloomfield right on the Harttord Bloomfield line off Granby St. Could the little guy be from there?

Sometimes it’s better to get them good homes because obviously the owners didn’t microchip and keep them on a leash…it’s sad how many cats & dogs get lost because of irresponsible owners. I am sorry but I hate when I see so many lost pets!!

I’m glad he’s home safe and sound. Please make sure you keep an eye on him so it doesn’t happen again.
