Extremely shy and skittish, young female, indoor cat. Brie is chipped but, she was not wearing her collar. She is of average size. She has triangle shaped head, pretty blue eyes, and a dark brown mask that includes her eyes, nose, & mouth. She also has dark brown extremities that include her erect ears, paws, & long smooth tail. Her brow hair/fur, is so thin and light in color, looks non-existent. The remaining part of her body is tan colored. Brie’s coat has a smooth texture. She has all of her claws. She can be coaxed with Churu’s treats and toys on a rod or stick.

Message from Owner

We just became a family this past fall. I adopted her at the Community Cat Foundation. She’d had a rough start in life. She and her siblings had been abandoned in an empty lot. Sadly, they learned not to trust people. I’m always up for a challenge so, I brought her home with me. It’s been quite a journey trying to gain her trust but, we are slowly getting there little by little. For me, it‘s been an act of love. We’ve only been a family for a few months but, I’m very attached to her and I am looking forward to seeing our relationship develop in to one where she feels safe and loved. Unfortunately, now she’s gone. She snuck away from home last night. Now I’m afraid I may never see her again. All I want for both of us is to be reunited.

Searching for her is the fastest way to get her back: 🐾 Sad seeing so many kitties go missing just this week. Poor baby, she must be so scared and hungry out on her own. 🐈 When a cat goes missing, they can’t easily find their way home using only their scent. You must be proactive and look for them. 🔍Look under cars, bushes & hedges, look for glowing eyes w/flashlight, call her name at dusk when it’s quiet and they come out from hiding to eat. Posting is important, but please search for her, too. They don’t go far 3-4 houses away, they stay in one place until they are scared off by dogs, coyotes, or loud equipment. The challenge is to find her before she gets any further away. 📣Please hang flyers near the area where she went missing, it’ll get the immediate attention from pedestrians, drivers and your neighbors will know you’re looking for her. 🐈‍⬛ YOU’RE the one that can bring her home safely, she will recognize your voice and your scent. Post on ND, check SDHS Lost & Found daily. If you’re able to find her, PLEASE, please don’t let her out unattended. Cats have the intelligence of a 3yo, they don’t know the dangers, they face outdoors with coyotes, dogs, cars, and worst of all evil people who taunt or injure cats. It only takes an hour to train a cat on a leash, then he can be outdoors safely with you. 🐈‍⬛ Go, and good luck finding this gorgeous girl 🐾💜🐾
