Shelley Shipt no litter box outside as it attracts predators. Instead, place bedding, some toys, clothing, stuff like that.

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. Get out and talk to your neighbours. They may have seen your cat in their yard but did not know who it belonged to. Ask them to keep watch on their security cameras and ask them to look into all small hiding spots on their property.
