Very friendly and affectionate male cat, was roaming around private hses on east 12 street, Between Ave O and Ave P in Brooklyn, approached every passerby with a sweet meow, as if to say “ please take me home”

please do not give them to any random strangers. The best option is a no- place (rescue, shelter, clinic, etc). Make sure to share this on multiple apps, including Facebook, Nextdoor, Pawboost, Ring (neighbors), Citizen, etc. Check for microchips also

Thanks for bringing inside to safety, food and water. Can you take it to a vet to scan for chip? The vet may also recognize the kitty and be able to contact its owners. Check with other local vets as well and contact the police. Also post fliers. And beware of bad actors!!! Also keep checking Nextdoor and Pawboost for cats found in and near your zip code. Perhaps it's this kitty missing since 2024. Reach out to its owner.
