Message from Owner

Blueberry is my baby and I have been missing him fiercely. I have had him since he was 2 weeks old. He is now almost 8 years old. He understands me better than any animal I have ever been the guardian of and I know he is desperately missing me as much as I am missing him. Please help reunite us. We are lost without each other. My days are sad and empty without him.

I’ve had my cat since a little kitten and I had to move 3 times back to back due to being homeless for a bit and once I finally got a secure spot she took off through a window. People found her in my apartments on some stair case like 50 feet away. She ended up going to the pound to see if she was tagged but then rereleased back to the apartments and in 4 days time I heard her outside my window. The tips I have is put out their litter box. And any jacket or socks of yours and 90% of the time they WILL come home. Flyers help but scent based will help them get home. And cats are smart they don’t just forget which way they came. I never thought my cat would leave my side but they have their own world sometimes. Good luck

General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
