I need the community’s help immediately. My beautiful German Shepherd mix, Gabby, was wrongfully sent away by the animal shelter and handed over to a rescue organization simply because I couldn't pay an astronomical, impossible $30,000 fee. She is NOT a stray, she is NOT abandoned—she has a loving home, and I am desperately trying to get her back. The shelter bypassed her owner and gave her away over a financial demand no regular person could ever meet. If you have seen Gabby posted on any local rescue pages, adoption sites, or social media groups, please contact me immediately. I love my dog, she belongs with her family, and I will not stop fighting to bring her home. Please share this post! The more people who see this, the harder it will be for them to keep her hidden in the system. She was given to the Legacy of Love 805 rescue and is up for adoption but ive got no response from them. Thank you so much!

Rosie & Gabby are sisters a part of a confiscate case in LA county. They were held there as evidence for 2 years and then released to our rescue. They have never stepped foot in Ventura county. Both girls are in foster doing well up north. We recently posted an update on them. This post is false.

I need to clear up the confusion from my last post. I was so overwhelmed that I made some mistakes in what I wrote, but anyone who knows me knows that Gabby, Rambo, and Rosie are my absolute world. I have been fiercely fighting for my dogs for two years straight. I even fought for them at the dog hearing to protect them and ensure they were safe and never declared vicious or dangerous. Through all of this, I found out that no one actually did real investigations while they were in the shelter—it was all complete BS. As soon as the dog hearing packet finally came out, I went straight there to claim them, only to be hit with an impossible, completely unfair $30,000 in fees. Because of that astronomical amount, they were transferred to a rescue. My heart is shattered. I am a loving dog mom who has done everything humanly possible to protect my babies from a broken system, and I just need empathy and support from the community right now
