I found this kitten in a very hot field, up on a levee crouched under a bush and mowing very loudly. Upon approach, she was very calm and allowed me to climb under and pick her up with no resistance at all. She is clearly someone's domesticated kitten that either got lost or was picked up and misplaced by a misguided hand .
