Heidi Kara that will help truly, maybe a humane trap, if the cat is inside only and got out it's likely terrified and hiding nearby, if you use a trap if the cats hungry it will come, sending prayers for a safe return......you can also put clothes out with your scent on then, my cat was gone once for 2 months and was sitting on the porch at 5 am in the cold, dont give up
