Thank you! I have a budgie I adopted from Norma. She was the first person I called. :) We took the pigeon home. He was too cuddly and kept following us around. Seemed like he wanted help.

One of the cruelest "sports" homing pigeons. Hatched and raised only to be taken away further and further from their home to find their way back through weather and predators not stopping to eat or drink in full panic until they cant fly anymore and either stop to rest or fall to the ground . If they dont make good competing time or get found by a good human the owners usually just cull or dont bother to claim. Some people will say theyre well cared for blah blah...do some research. CROW wont accept because theyre not a native bird. They need pigeon feed that you can get at Tractor Supply or Feed Store. Norma Alvarez is a rescuer. TY for caring for it.
