Neighbor please ask for proof of ownership please. People are claiming dogs here that don't belong to them using them as bait to teach their dogs how to fight and mutilate or if Female have babies and then dump the mother ESPECIALLY BIG DOG LIKE THIS ONE. Please protect him or her they can't speak for themselves. Please be patient sometimes people don't know their pets are missing until they get home and it's was a holiday weekend. . File a found report to all shelters. Fresno Animal Center will help with food and some vet care if you offer to foster the dog until a better situation comes along. Our owner are found. Thank you for helping God bless you and your family. We need more people like you God bless

What to do if you’ve found a stray animal. Please secure them if at all possible while a search is made for the owners. If you can please have them scanned for a microchip. Any vet or pet store will do it free of charge. File a found report with the shelters. Post on 559 lost and found pets, Nextdoor and the Ring app if possible. Put up picture posters around the neighborhood. Notify your mail person. They can be a great resource since they are in the neighborhood. They may recognize the animal.
