My cat vanished from my home. My patio door was open but I’m on the 2nd floor and he’s never attempted to jump or fit through the rails. The front door was closed. No idea where he could’ve gone but he is not in the hse.

Go out the dark, the flashlight look around all bushes and buildings and under porches and look for the glow of the eyes

He may be stuck in something. A box, closet, cabinet, hamper, washer/dryer, suitcase. Look outside in and under vehicles, in storm drains and sewers, bushes and trees, behind barbeques. Take a box of treats or food to shake and/or a squeaky toy. Check online listings repeatedly on Nextdoor, Pawboost, Ring Neighbors, Ring Rescue, Petco Love Lost, the Humane Society, and the pound. Post flyers everywhere.
