Debbie Abramek Mumbauer This is a textbook example of victim blaming. Offering criticism after a dog has already gone missing doesn't change what happened or help bring the dog home. You cannot Monday Morning quarterback this situation. It only adds guilt and judgment to an already stressful situation. You don't know the circumstances. If you haven’t figured this out already, responsible pet owners can take every reasonable precaution and still experience an unexpected accident. Assuming negligence without any facts is unfair and unproductive, you of all people should know this. If your intention is genuinely to help, focus on sharing the post, keeping an eye out for the dog, or offering useful information, that would be super helpful to the family. If not, comments that assign blame contribute nothing to the effort of reuniting a frightened dog with its family. I know this could be hard at times when we sit so high on our pedestal and judge others as if we were God almighty himself. Try to be more sensitive, Debra. You are better then that.

Wow, how rude can you be? Please try to show some compassion instead of false accusations. The family doesn’t need useless messages from some keyboard warrior who has no clue what she is talking about. Was the point of your original post just to hear yourself talk? What I truly don’t understand is, why people feel the need to comment pointless and inconsiderate posts on a post obviously asking for help. You amaze me with your rudeness.
