Debbie Abramek Mumbauer I’m truly sorry about Gracie, and I sincerely hope Rue is found safe. No one wants to see a dog suffer. I also know what it’s like. On Christmas Eve, my dogs got out of our fenced yard. My family and a whole community stayed out until 8:00 the next morning even though it was Christmas, searching while my kids slept because I knew they’d wake up heartbroken if our dogs weren’t home. We found them because people shared our posts, searched, and helped. They didn’t waste precious time criticizing how the dogs got out—they wanted them home just as much as we did. My point has never been that people shouldn’t remind owners to be careful. Of course we should encourage responsible pet ownership. My point is that there’s a difference between educating and criticizing. One helps; the other doesn’t. Sadly, not every story has a happy ending, and those losses are devastating. But every successful reunion happens because a community chooses to help instead of judge. I’d rather be part of the group that shares the post, keeps an eye out, and brings a dog home than the group that spends that time assigning blame.

Wendy Paupst again I don't care about human feelings, I am worried about all of the dogs missing because of the storm & fireworks. Can you imagine how scared and alone they are? That's what I care about. So save your efforts to admonish me because I don't care what you have to say.

Tatyana Gombar good news, I just got back from asking the Wizard for one. 🧠I put you down for grammar proficiency since common decency seems like too tall of an ask, even in Oz.

Ashley Elizabeth I can't tell you how many times I have done all of these. Just a few weeks a 2y/o golden named Gracie got out. We looked, I shared the info to friends in that area and they found her passed away. I didn't even know her but my heart broke for her, she must have been so scared. We've been driving around looking for Rue, she's I'll and been missing since June 14th can you imagine what she's going through? So keep your holier than thou crap to yourself, you are the one judging.

Wendy Paupst that is clear from her initial post. Probably doesn’t make any mistakes, ever? Good for her.
