Go out late die early morning. The cats probably pretty scared. Take a flashlight. Walk real slow. Look up in trees and bushes crawl spaces

He's most likely still close to home but hiding. Check crawlspace sheds garages vehicles anywhere he could be locked in accidentally. Ask your neighbors to do the same. Put his blanket and some dirty laundry outside. The SCENT will help him find the way home if lost. Please NO litter box. It attracts predators that will scare him away. Leave access for him to get back inside when It is quiet and he feels safe to do so. At night time go outside and call/talk very SOFTLY and listen if you can hear him answer and he comes out of hiding. Put up flyers. Not everyone uses social media. Hope Squid is home very soon.

1. Post on NextDoor and Pawboost to reach more people including those who might not be on Facebook. 2. Put out kitty's bed and some of your stinkiest socks to help him find his way. Do NOT put out litter box! It will attract dogs, strays and predators such as coyotes. 3. Grab a flashlight and look up and under. Up in trees and on rooftops. Under vehicles, porches and bushes. The light will reflect off his eyes. 4. Go out between the hours of 2-4 in the morning, take some food or treats and walk and call. Shake food/treats, call his name and wait for a count of 30 for kitty to reach you. Repeat the steps until kitty returns or dawn when people start leaving for work.
