Mary Nakiso The ones in better neighborhoods are not as bad as the ones in depressed neighborhoods. I’ve actually rescued dogs from the Carson shelter so I know first hand how horrible it is! There are 10 year old children lined up outside to turn in a mama dog and a grown puppy because the ignorant indigent parents allowed her to get pregnant and they cannot afford to feed the dogs. So they send a 10 year old with his 8 year old sister to do their dirty work! I told the kids that both dogs will likely be killed there and they just shrugged. Daily occur in these neighborhoods, unfortunately. Not as bad in Santa Monica or West LA, which are more affluent.

Did you find her in the Carson area? If not, please take her to the pound in the area where you found her. Otherwise her owners won’t look for her in the right place. Also … be aware that Carson shelter is a DEATH CAMP FOR DOGS!

The shelter will euthanize the dog can you verify first if she had a microchip ? And also pleae please verify first if the rescue is legitimate. Many people pretend to be a rescue but have bad intentions. Poor baby please don’t take her to shelter .
