Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors ASAP with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen him, and when they last did and which direction he headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if he might be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope he is found soon🙏🏻

Ask neighbors to check their garages sheds and basements, sometimes they get trapped in them . Get their permission to look in their yards, under their porches and decks, under and behind their sheds,look in, under,behind wood stacks,in crawl spaces,on fences,on the box,at their base, in bushes,up trees, up poles ,use a flashlight to look in these spaces,look for the eye shine,or reflective glow of the cat's eyes.

Do nighttime searches for your cat, with a flashlight and a bag of cat treats,walk the neighborhood where the cat is lost , with the light,look under vehicles,in their wheel wells, under porches and decks,in bushes,up trees,up poles, on fences,at their base on the ground,in between and behind buildings, near garbage bins,shine light on rooftops,on windowsills, on upper level decks,on fire escapes, use the light to expose the eye shine, or reflective glow of the cat's eyes , Calmly call the cat's name,then shake the treat bag, please repeat these actions throughout the block then neighborhood where the cat is lost every night after sunset then again late night to right before dawn 11 pm-4 am Search your property ; look in crawl spaces,in your shed, under,behind wood stacks, under the deck, under the house, under the porch.Post on Nextdoor in Lost and Found Pets group and post on Neighbors app,you don't need a Ring camera to post on Neighbors app .File a Lost report with the local animal shelter,or animal control services, and check the shelter a couple of times a week, bring proof of ownership; Pictures, Vet bills, vaccine records,etc.Ask the neighbors to check their garages, sheds, and basements, sometimes they get trapped in them .
