Please have all your neighbors check their back yard tool sheds, garages, crawl spaces, basements, old vehicles and old appliances. Also, call every vet in your area to see if someone has brought pet there. Keep calling and make sure they have a picture of your pet, and your contact info. Contact all rescues and all humane societies in your area. They often don't give animals much time to find their owners or a new home before they euthanize them. If someone took your pet there and surrendered them then they have even less time to be found or find a home. Send them pictures and your contact info and call them daily or at least 2-3 times a week and go there and check yourself because your description and their description might not match. Put up flyers in your neighborhood and have all neighbors check their ring doorbells to see if anyone can see anything on which way pet went or if someone took pet. Lots of sicko people out there that take animals for evil purposes. Google pets for free on social media. It is heartbreaking. Send pic and pet info to surrounding all cities and if you just moved recently have someone watch for them at the old house. Always check out each sighting personally if you can. Even if doesn't completely sound like your pet check it out in person. When a pet is lost it goes into survival mode and their appearance can change drastically in just a short time. Their fur may change texture and length and even a tiny change in color to accommodate the elements. If you can't go in person please send the finder a voice recording of you calling for your pet over and over and have finder play it and see if their is a reaction. Never give up hope.

She might try to find her way back to the last place you lived. Here are dome tips. Im including the tips for indoor cats since she is in unfamiliar territory. Put food out, put out favorite person's unwashed clothes so your cat can smell their scent and anything unwashed with scents of your lost cat as well, except litter boxes because those attract predators. Post on NextDoor, Pawboost, Pet FBI, & Petco Love Lost. Put up flyers everywhere, distribute mini flyers to your neighbors withing a 6 block radius including your mail carrier, fedex, and ups delivery guys, Check neighbors sheds, garages, window wells, under decks, porches and anywhere they could be hiding. Look up~ cats do get stuck in trees or light posts. Many people think they can get down themselves but Ive seen many situations where they've needed to be rescued after many days being stuck. Cats get themselves in many predictaments. Put a night vision motion detected camera outside to see if your cat is showing up at night. Search at night with a flashlight, checking bushes, under decks & porches, in sheds, window wells and anywhere they could be hiding. Check with rescues, humane societies and animals control and follow up with them consistently! When checking with humane societies and animal control facilities, make sure to check in person every few days. Dont rely on them to contact you, even if you have brought them a flyer and/or your cat is microchipped. Sadly they dont always check. Set a live trap with canned tuna (for hard to trap cats I used a mixture of tuna, oysters and sardines) Cover the trap and always monitor it for the safety of your cat and to also make sure you dont catch wildlife. No matter how friendly a cat may be, indoor-only cats tend to become skittiish once outside and in unfamiliar territory, and usually hide nearby and often too scared to come to owners voice. They also usually try to enter the way the escaped, so if its safe to do that, leave that open. That did work for one of my very shy cats before. Time is crucial. Praying you find your cat soon and safe. Trapping was the only way to get my kitty back in after she scratched a hole through the screen and escaped. The flyers helped me figure out that she was hiding a couple of blocks away, because people called me with sightings. She was scared to come to anyone, even me. I set traps and eventually caught her. My advice I posted isnt something I just got off the internet, its literally my own personally experience and also experience from doing rescue and helping others. I pray you get your cat back. I know how heartwrenching it was when my baby was out there. NextDoor has an App but you can also access online as well. Pretty sure Groot showed up on our camera. This was from this morning 3:53 am. I’ll keep an eye out. We are near Labore and Edgerton.

No matter how long your kitty has been gone, stay vigilant with all lost cat protocols and advice - kitty may have been taken in by a well meaning person and could be very near - keep posters and flyers fresh and communications current with local animal control, vets, and rescues for new leads - keep the faith 💪🏼 Use whatever is applicable in the following for your situation: Extra strength prayers your kitty is safe nearby (cats usually stay in the vicinity) and home very very soon - put their food and warm shelter outside your door in a protected area and/or in your garage - diligently canvas the area and local businesses with large colorful posters and flyers - contact local animal control, vets, and rescues for any possible leads - cross post on neighborhood/community FB pages for further reach - cats are superior survivalists - stay vigilant in searching and don’t lose hope 🙏🏻❤️💪🏼 P.s. Beware of scammers saying they have found your kitty and need $$$ and your contact information. And also, how an Instagram/FB site helped them find their pet - don't click on site. All BS scammers. 🙏❤️💪🏼
