Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

Leave something outside that has his or your scent it. Look after dark with a flashlight, for glowing eyes. Check with neighbors to see if he got stuck inside a garage or shed. Put up signs in your neighborhood. Check at local shelters if you don't find him soon.

Bandit is a beautiful tuxedo cat — I’m sorry he is lost. You say you've seen him but can't catch him which makes me believe he's an escaped indoor cat -- is that so? His familiarity with the environment will dictate how to find him. Escaped indoor cats usually hide close by but are too frightened to return or respond when called which is why "catching" is not the best way to get them back inside; while a cat that knows his way around may have become stuck somewhere and needs help getting home. I have recovered many lost cats and assisted others so if you tell me about Bandit I can provide complete instructions that may help. Please understand an escaped cat may emerge when it's dark and quiet to sneak back inside voluntarily — if you do just the right things. This usually happens within the first few nights so until I hear back from you please implement this strategy if Bandit got out accidentally: tonight lay a familiar blanket or worn teeshirt flat on the doorstep — do not use a litter box, bed, trap, or anything conuous (his path home must look exactly as it did when he got out) -- along with a bowl of food (which should calm him and hold his attention). Call him softly just once to provide a familiar sound and direction (he won't come on command) then watch from inside (DO NOT GO BACK OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT!) and if you see from inside Bandit approach and settle on the food be careful not to startle him as you slowly and quietly provide a clear path inside --he may put an end to the crisis himself. If you can't wait up set an alarm and watch again just before sunrise -- it's a popular time. If you open the door and he darts away, DO NOT go after him -- simply leave the door cracked open and retreat into the room calling him softly, giving him the chance to return on his own. And although some will suggest putting out kitty's litter box, experts say DON’T DO IT. I've never used one in all the times I've been successful recovering a lost cat. Please read this to learn more about why it's neither necessary nor recommended: https://www.facebook.com/notes/lost-cats-georgia/why-we-dont-recommend-putting-your-lost-cats-litter-box-outside/1101245526665296/ (Note: if he's been chased so much that he's hesitant to come back, you may have to implement a more comprehensive strategy, but try this first).
