Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Share this in any local facebook groups you belong to, the pawboost website, you can also post you enter your postal code where you are or were with your fur baby last location so it attracts others for awareness in your area ❤️❤️❤️ Also, there’s the Nextdoor app that’s free too.

Get lots of signs up, and post on neighbourhood/community groups as well as ‘Toronto Lost and Found Cats’. Also file a lost report with Animal Services. Keep checking all groups and sites daily. A good list of things to do is on www.catsinthebag.org (click on the link itself). If your kitty is microchipped, make sure it is registered and the company has your up-to-date information. Shared. Note that two days is a long time to a cat so you have no time to waste. If you have not yet done all these things do so ASAP, if you have do them again and go further in your search. Notify Toronto Animal Services and check their website(s) for found cats. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. Note that intact male cats can travel long distances in search of females in heat and have trouble finding their way home. Leave his used litter and some food and water in hidden places near the door he left NOW and check later this evening. Advise local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5+ block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make any loud noises or sudden moves. Place posters throughout the neighbourhood .strays move around at night ,call his name ,shake treats ,kibbles as it gets dark outside .
