Lost Puppy Ideas with a few suggestions for you that I hope will help you find your Sweet Angel. Please personally call, visit and check all shelters, pounds, rescues, etc. in every town in the state. I see so many pets on these pages that look like alot of missing pets posted. I am sure everyone knows that these pets brought into shelters are constantly being shuffled around from shelter to shelter, sometimes they do not stay in the county where they were lost. Shelters, rescues, and the humane society have a nationwide network. Do not call and ask about your missing pet, go and personally look for yourself or look on their website or FB page because they will tell you that they do not have your lost pet. Lesson learned for some, so just passing that onto those looking for their pet. Make a scent trail in the areas where your pet has been sighted and put up lost/reward posters. Here are some scent trail tips, bring your unwashed laundry including sheets to the sighting areas. Walk those areas, bring along another pet that your baby knows and might respond to. Talk on your walks and say his name but don’t call loudly, cry or scream. Be calm. Act natural. If you see your baby sit or lay down and be patient. Have snacks with you such as hot dogs, bacon, rotisserie chicken, things you can toss and lure your baby closer to you. Please check with neighbor hoods with outdoor cameras to see if your baby shows up on their cameras. Hire a pet tracker asap (if you can) or have someone fly a drone all over the area where your baby might be roaming? •Closer to Heaven Thermal Drone Recovery 251-223-6144 closertoheavenllc@gmail.com •Steeler Nation- Speedy FortyThree Mark Harris, Drone Guy), •Raven 6 Rising- (a professional UAV Drone Co.) •Owl Drone Services (LA & MS) 985-515–2369 •Southern Drone Recovery ****** When you see your pup, have a leash ready. Be calm, and do not yell or chase. Stay still, get low and talk softly so pup will come to you. Don't give any food, other than a few treats to coax pup to come to you. No big bowls of food. Pup may need to get hungry to trap? Dogs need at least 3 days to decompress to get acclimated to a new home and should be in a fenced yard or on a leash at all times while outdoors or near inside doors. Their instinct is to run away until they feel comfortable with the new owners and new home. Best of luck.
