I know you both must be so worried and scared! Praying for a quick and safe return of your beautiful baby, Midnight! If you haven’t already, my suggestion would be to post on Next Door for additional visibility, especially in neighborhood and local area. She is most likely scared and hiding nearby, so hopefully you can leave out food (something smelly like sardines and mackerel, along with her regular food by itself) and something familiar to her, so it attracts her back. The other suggestion would be to get a Ring or Blink camera that sends notifications to your phone. She might be coming out/back at night and hiding during the day. Don’t give up! 🐈‍⬛❤️🙏

Hi hope this helps. Watch a video on youtube about how to find your lost cat. Also, and the sooner the better,put out something of yours for scent, putting out the litter box is not recommended as it attracts unwanted critters that could possibly scare your cat off again. Look with flashlight early a.m. or late at night, calling and shaking food. That part is so important because those are the quiet hours and your cat would be more prone to coming out of hiding. Maybe put up flyers too. If you get any sightings use a trap, sometimes you can borrow from animal control or Amazon has them. Dont give up too soon , i had one gone for weeks and as i was about to give up, and I found her. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 and shared.

I'm so sorry. My cat slipped through a door not too long ago. I set some his litter near the door along with his bedding and some of our dirty laundry (including used guinea pig blankets) and other things that would have familiar smells. I placed the litter and his bedding inside a wire dog crate that I covered with a blanket to make it feel safe. And I put a little of his smelliest food in the crate around midnight in hopes wildlife and ferals wouldn't get the food. I also left the door he slipped through slightly cracked the entire time he was loose even though it was bitterly cold (I understand this may not be an option for everyone, but we felt desperate). He came back into our house on his own in the middle of the night the second night. Cats can hide and go without food and water for days. Don't give up hope even if it takes a while. Best of luck. I hope your cat is home soon.
