Especially focus on the two blocks around your house. Cats tend to stay close before they wander so they are usually close by. Your cat is probably scared in hiding. Make sure you check in trees shrubbery under decks and porches in this whole area. Just the other day someone that lost their cat saw the glimpse of their cat on their camera at midnight and ran out to rescue their cat. The same day a cat that was lost for 14 days was found in a manhole and skinny but hopefully okay 2 blocks away and a dog walker noticed. Also putting the worn piece of clothing on your porch might help or just inside your garage that is raised about 5 in to help attract if it comes close back to home. Wishing a safe and quick return... I'm not sure how your cat got out but I take precautions so my cats don't get out such as backing out of my front door and watching the cats to ensure they do not want to escape. If anyone shows any interest I shoo them away but most of them are not interested. When I go to my garage from my house. I also back out with my body into the garage and do not open the garage door until the house door is secured. When I return home, I do not open the house door from the garage until the garage door is completely down because I've heard of many cats escaping this route. In addition, I only opened my windows about 3 in so no cat can escape through a screen or window and All this helps ensure that none of my cats escaped. Hope to hear good news soon...

Flyers are very important. They are best put in a zip gallon bag that is upside down to protect from the elements. It was just recently that both the dog and a cat were reunited by flyers alone since the people that found the animals did not have social media. If you adopted from a rescue, they usually like to know ASAP that a former animal is missing. If your cat has a microchip, it's good to make sure your contact information is up to date so you can be contacted if your cat is found. Cats tend to stay close to home before they wander so time is of the essence. Make sure your cat is not hiding in the garage in a closet in a dresser, drawer or behind furniture which often happens. I've heard of a few cats returning home the past few years when the owner left their garage open about 5 inches with a worn piece of clothing on the inside of the garage near the opening to help attract the cat if it comes close back to home but not too wide. So you do not attract unwanted animals. It's good if you go check outside on your block around Dawn and dusk with a flashlight looking in shrubbery and under ducks and porches to hopefully catch a glimpse of your cat's eyes if it is close by. Usually cats are scared when they first leave home and might not even respond to you. So the flashlight might come in handy to catch a glimpse of the eyes. It's also good to check your local animal control in person daily because things change very often and best in person. It's also good to check local rescues and shelters in your area daily. Hoping for a quick and safe return.....
