Shirley Patterson Stone We are feeding it and providing water. It will let me get within 6 feet now. We have one neighborhood that backs up to our property. Don't know if the cat wondered over from there. Have posted on nextdoor. We are surrounded by woods on three sides and have 4 foxes coming through the yard as well as an occasional coyote, bear and raccoons. I am concerned for the cat's safety. The cat hangs out here all day and seems to go somewhere else at night. We have two cats that are stickley indoors, so we can not let a stray in.

If you are feeding it, it may eventually come to you, probably another poor baby that someone has dropped, so sad.
