Go check this dog because sometimes people pick up dogs, and they take them to the destination where they're going. This happened to this girl, she loser dog in san jose, and I saw it on the website. In oakland shelter. Some people who find those, they don't wanna go out of their way to take them where they should be taken. They take them with their going to. So please check in person. Don't assume it's not your dog.

When people adopt dogs, they need to be very careful when they bring them home. They need to take all precautions so they don't get lost.

There is a sweet dog that looks exactly like her at the animals shelter in San Martin. She's been there a couple of days. I saw her today. She is also on their website listed under "Lost Dogs".

Report to shelter as lost and check in person, ask neighbors to check security cameras footage, hang flyers all over, if chipped call chip company, check with homeless people some like to keep stray dogs. Hope pup is found safe.

Post to NextDoor Check shelter website 24petconnect .com City of San Jose Animal Care & Services Contact Susan Packer k9reunite@gmail.com for guidance Help her smell her way home Take an unwashed article of THE OWNERS clothing (Socks , Sheet, Underwear) & Hang it in a tree ,on a fence , a pole or edge of roof & put an article of unwashed clothing on ground below. The wind will carry the scent. If there is another dog in the home take that dog's fresh poop and rub it on a rag & hang it high . Open your gates and/or your garage door, turn on all your lights. Put a rug or towel on porch with a bowl of water. Do not put the dog's bed or the dog's toys outside. The only scent we want is from the owners. Please do this ASAP. Rain or shine, a dog can find its way back from miles by following a scent. They don't operate like humans on sight or sound. Also saturate the area with bright flyers.& file a lost report with your local shelters and check those in person in case your dog is there.
