Hi! dear,I believe I found your cat. It looks very similar to the one you described. Where can we meet or how can we confirm it’s yours?

Place a large sign in your yard. Keep signs on your mailbox, shopping cart, and car. Place worn clothing out for scent. Call for your cat at night🙏🙏

Call kitty day and night times using wet food or tuna for kitty to smell. Place your worn clothes out for kitty to trace the scent home. Check all hiding spots like under bushes, vehicles. Check garages , sheds and up in the trees. Share on PawBoost , Nextdoor, and on face book pet pages. I pray your baby is safe and home inside with family asap🩷

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck if possible or in a garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put out their litter box but depending on where you live, it could attract predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & Ring Neighbors app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 12. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. 13. Last you can rent a humane trap at your local shelter and set it with some tasty food. If you have a lot of predators in your area, you may want to skip this step. Your cat may be coming around the house late at night.

Put out some laundry with your scent. Ask neighbors to check their garages and sheds incase your cat was accidentally shut up. Put up signs by the mailboxes. Call for your cat in early morning and evening. Keep checking the area shelters and the Humane Society incase someone turns your cat in.
