Christy Sperling I’m so sorry you have to go through that.. on top of everything else. That’s why I always tell folks that in addition to filing lost pet reports to be aware of all the scammers out there. Or to at least research them first. My friend lost her cat and got taken. She paid $100 for them to “look” for her cat. Then they said they found the kitty and needed another $100 to meet up. She never heard from them again. There are some legitimate search businesses, I don’t know the names, but I just warn people. Thinking of you & Gummy Bear.
