Description

Fluffy Orange Tabby

Message from Finder

My sister and I spotted a fluffy orange cat roaming around Deerfield late last night, and then again tonight, so this is the second night in a row we've seen her outside. We were able to safely get her, and she is very sweet and friendly. We saw her tonight on snowberry. We're taking her to the Irvine Animal Shelter to check for a microchip. If you think this might be your cat or know who she belongs to, please reach out! We didn't feel comfortable leaving her outside overnight because of coyotes, so she'll be at the Irvine Animal Shelter. Thanks!

I responded to a previous post that you took her to the Irvine Animal Shelter and they refused her. You cannot find anyone please get a hold of me and I will take her to the Irvine Animal Shelter I will insist. They did that to me a year and a half ago and I insisted they keep the cat and they did and the owner found her there. The cat was not chipped

Nadia Khurma - thank you for being so kind to help keep this kitty safe. Here’s some guidance steps of additional things to do: 🐾 IF YOU FIND A CAT 🐾 Here’s what to do to help reunite a lost kitty with their family: 1. Post Online Share the found cat on local lost/found pet Facebook pages and neighborhood apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighborhood • Local community groups 2. Check for a Microchip Take the cat to a nearby veterinarian or animal shelter to be scanned for a microchip. • Many animal rescuers have their own scanner and may be able to help. • Always use a secure cat crate or carrier to prevent escapes. 3. Put Up “FOUND CAT” Signs Not everyone is on social media! Post signs around the neighborhood - especially near where the cat was found. 4. File a Found Report This is very important. Contact your local animal shelter to report the found cat. 5. Foster if You Can If you’re able, please foster the cat while trying to locate the owner. It keeps them safe and

You are so kind to rescue this kitty and take her to the Irvine Animal Care Center. I hope whoever’s cat this is doesn’t allow it outside. Cats cannot be safely outside here.
