Holly Nicole do you work at the shelter? If he came in and left with a dog I’d love his contact information and I have to tell you what ever dog he took was not that small dog as I still have her in my possession because that picture is in my back yard because I’m the one that found them running down 288 st, picked them up and cut the 20 foot of chain off this dog. Yes he is a very sweet older dog. He however is not friendly with other male dogs. But never showed aggression towards the 5lb rat terrier I found him with and they loved one another a lot. But I’d comfortably say he’d be a great single dog home candidate for love and affection. Very sweet towards people, what happened with the situation was very unfortunate and when dogs are fighting (especially more than 2 dogs) and someone tries to intervene. The chances of being bit, out of instinct instead of aggression skyrocket. We are not mad at him, nor do we feel he’s a bad dog. We just couldn’t keep him here with my male dogs being the same way. I hope someone gives him a good home, he deserves to be loved

To the owner, I cannot believe you left your senior at the shelter to die. He is being ed. He doesn’t understand why you left him there. He’s alone. He’s scared. I took him out today for a last walk and burgers. He is the sweetest boy !!!! I’m heartbroken you did this to him.
