Message from Finder

This sweet angel was found by my older brother today over at St. Mary’s College. She had a collar on but it had no identifiers. We took her to the St. Joseph Humane Society to see if she was chipped and she is not. We have filed a found report with them and will be hanging on to her until her family is found! Please help bring this sweetie to her home.

Hi! Original poster of this sweet girl. Here is a pic of her all cleaned up (poor baby needed a bath so bad, she was covered in burrs and ticks) to maybe make her easier to recognize

Charr Sarratore yes but as I said long story sorry. I didn't really have a choice but the Humane Societies are suppose to be a place of safety or hope if you have to give up an animal aren't they? They make you sign a paper and pay. I don't feel it is fair to hold what happened against me for any future possibility of adopting another animal as I adopted from them before then again life isn't fair is it.? Just the way things turned out. My mistake, something learned. Like I said I didn't feel I had any other option and I miss the animal(s) terribly and always will. I love my animals still. It was a heartbreaking situation I will always regret but have to live with.

8 never wanted to surrender and I told them that and they went and said there was a lost report and they had pictures but I know in my heart those pictures were what was sent the day before that I had someone send a stray report. It is all behind now only a miracle could happen but unlikely and too late.

Charr Sarratore I'm not sure but they had me sign something because I brought her but I thought it was just because she was a stray. I felt tricked but like nothing I could do. They told me on tge phone I had to bring her because I reported but also said I vould like I keep her for that holding time. Everything chanfed once I got there. My fault for signing some paper they told me to sign and I told them I wanted to keep her. My heart is forever broken. How did you get to keep your stray?

Charr Sarratore The SBARC I honestly don't understand but they said owner was looking for it but never showed me proof of anything just took her away behind my back when I went to get my phone to show them my pictures of her, then director called and left message saying my adoption was denied and when we spoke said I can never adopt from them because I had given up animals before (this was not something I did by choice but from fear long story) anyway that is past but my heart is broken 😔. That dog and I connected and I wanted her so bad 🐾. She was in poor condition whoever owned her. No microchip and doubtful no vet proof or UTD and very poor care. Nothing I can do now but I paid the price for doing what I thought was right. I only pray wherever she is she is in a good home 🐾❤. I know I gave her the best the few days I had her. 2 baths and picked 15 ticks filled with blood from her and she had blisters on her paws and could barely put pressure to walk. Loved her and she drew very close to me. I held her a lot. So sad 😢. Sorry just letting you know my experience.

They didn't let me hang on to the sweet dog I found until or if she was claimed and I wanted to and keep her if not claimed.
