My cat snuck out a week ago. I,was,in bed sick and someone came by and she snuck out. Indoor cat and we moved here 16 months ago. I left my garage door up and the light on. I left blinds open in all the bedroom and lites and left patio doors open. Everyone kept saying, indoor cats don't go far. 17 hours later, the next morning after searching the entire night. She was 12 houses up. Sitting on the doorstep . Thank goodness. I hope you find your baby.

Lost house cats usually do not go far. Look in,under, on top of all structures/trees in the near vicinity. Have a flashlight with you as his/her eyes will reflect in the dark. If you do see him/her, no sudden movements. Have some treats or his/her food with you. Also, if you can leave a door or window slightly open, he/she may come back in their own. Keep an ear to the outside after dark. Many kitties come back after dark and meow to be let back in. Leave a piece of clothing with your scent near the open space that is helpful.Have neighbors look in garages, sheds and other structures. Also if you did not see him/her get out or know for sure she/he did, check every inch of your house, she/he could be trapped or hiding somewhere. Good Luck!!

Please look in unused rooms. Ask all neighbors to do the same. Under, in, around sheds, garages, porches unused rooms. Put something that smells like your cat or your family. File lost reports with police, township, SPCA etc. I just shared in some local groups. Post on , ring, next door and other sites. Lostmydoggie.com, find Toby in Pa,
