Jill Hollers that's not right. Have you gone up the ladder and talked to someone higher up at the agency?

Sam Fernandez well I'm told that he was or went to noco. I checked that website every day for two weeks. I guess he got neutered. And adopted out all in a matter of two weeks. I don't understand. I'm very sad because he was my companion animal. I feel I was not given the correct amount of time or knowledge of him even being in there. The person who told me this was laughing at my question s. They sent me a photo but I just can't tell and there was never anything noted that he had a krooked Paw.

I'm so sorry that Krooked Paw is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! If he's an indoor cat he is likely hiding nearby. Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere he may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took him in thinking that he was a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in your neighborhood. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. Look for him and call for him after it gets dark (around 9pm currently) and around dawn (around 5am currently) as that's when they move about. I've heard that they try to return the same way they left so if you can leave a garage door, window, etc. open. If he's microchipped, make sure that your contact information connected to his chip registration is correct! There are mixed opinions on putting out their litterbox. Put out a piece of your clothing and one of his blankets. I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Krooked Paw is home soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏

Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. CRITICAL INCASE CAT IS TRAPPED SOMEWHERE; start from where cat went missing and workout for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues everyother day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search for the flashlight high and low. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor com
