Message from Owner

Lunchbox got lose on Saturday. Two young boys was chasing him down clarita and gilchrest street to retrieve him and bring him back . A black male in a white pickup truck pulled up, got out and put my dog in the back of his truck. I noticed he was gone on Sunday, Easter. I went around asking the community if they seen him that’s when they told me about the black male in the pickup truck. I really want my dog . If anyone has any information or has seen my dog. Please reach out and let me know. Thank you in advance.

Curtisteene Hall Drive around your block at different times and see if you can find a white truck parked? Also, hang up a missing pic/flyer on yiur front door for the mailman and delivery people to see.... they see all the things in the neighborhood.

Curtisteene Hall This is tragic. This is not a way for a dog to live. Since you can no longer have him in your home, if you are lucky enough to get him back, please surrender him to a rescue so he can have a chance at a good life. Living outside is no quality of life. I pray he is safe. If you find him and you are interested in helping him live a better life, please feel free to contact me directly and I will help you find a rescue.

Check with Detroit Animal Care and Control daily IN PERSON and check with the Humane Society and the Michigan Anti Cruelty Society. Check rescue pages like Detroit Dog Rescue and Detroit Pit Crew and Rebel Dogs Detroit. Put up flyers in your neighborhood

Curtisteene Hall That sounds like just a regular open backyard, and not a “kennel.” 😑 Who takes Lunchbox inside at night on freezing cold nights?? 🤔 I hope that you get him back, but are you aware of the risks you took with all pets being stolen to be used as bait dogs for dog-fighting rings?? 🙀 In the future, Please don’t get another pet unless you stop renting and buy your own house. That way, you don’t have to answer to a landlord. ✅ I’m not trying to be mean, or lecture you. I hope that you find Lunchbox. 🍀🐾🐾🍀 This is happening way too often. It’s the animals that suffer the most. 🚩😿💔

Amy Gallop my landlord won’t let me have pets in the house so my nephew was nice enough to let me keep him in his backyard in the kennel. Before I went to church on Sunday I went to go feed him and noticed that he wasn’t at the gate to greet me like he normally do. I called his name and as I got closer to his gate, I noticed it was open. I didn’t know he was missing. I guess his sons forgot to close the gate all the way and he got lose. I wasn’t notified.

So the owner didn’t check in on his Lunchbox , who was obviously outside for too long, for an entire day ?? 🚩
