UPDATE. This is an older neutered male cat. I have taken him to the vet, had blood work done and will be keeping him and giving him lots of love. He is such a loving boy.

Rena Dudley are you aware of how to acclimate Kitties? It may take a week or two, but it helps kitties have less territorial issues in the future. Thanks so much for caring about this cat.

Kathi Ruble we did take him to the vet for scanning. No chip. 😞 I'm hoping to schedule a vet visit and possibly keep him. I'm just worried about my 2 senior cats, adjusting to a new cat in their house.

If you take kitty in a carrier for safe travel to any veterinary office, they will scan for free to see if there is hopefully a microchip with family contact info
