Cass Robinson they do not take in strays - legally cannot do so. Only the Athens Clarke County Animal Services shelter on Buddy Christian way can take in strays. No healthy cat or kitten has been euthanized at the shelter since about mid- 2018 because of the fistwr program, barn cat program, and more recently, the transports.
