Description

Grey and white cat, with white front paws. Skittish, but not violent, when outdoors. He rarely meows and rarely approaches strangers. Usually gets along well with other cats. Not chipped. Was wearing a breakaway collar when last seen.

Message from Owner

He spends the majority of his time indoors but occasionally goes out to use the bathroom, visit the neighbors, and lounge in the garden. He was outdoors when the fireworks began on New Years Eve, and we suspect he fled into an unfamiliar location to to escape the noises. We have tried calling for him, but we fear he is too far away to hear and/or too lost to find his way . Please contact us with ANY information, even if the news is bad. We're sick with worry.

Cats generally do not wander far from home. Put an article of your worn (unwashed) clothing on your porch plus a couple of your cat’s toys. They contain scents familiar to your cat and it can help him to find his way back home. Let your neighbors know that your cat is missing and ask them to keep an eye out for him. Ask your neighbors to check their sheds and beneath things like boat trailers. Put lost pet signs in your neighborhood. At night go out with a flashlight. Bring a bag of treats. Shake it while calling your cat’s name. Put your flashlight to shine beneath cars, sheds and any place where cats are known to hide. You can see a cat’s glowing eyes with a flashlight. Visit the animal shelter. Your cat may have been picked up as a stray. I pray that your cat returns home safely to you. 🙏🏻
