Message from Owner

He is an indoor cat, never been outside or loose. Has all his shots, neutered and declawed (front paws). Was outside holding him and a lady walking 2 dogs on the sidewalk, didn't see her approach because of a truck in the driveway. Upon seeing the dogs the cat jumped from my arms and took off running, tried catching him but the sun was setting and light was fading. Please respond to this post or text me at

Try sitting in the front of your house talking on the phone. He will come to your voice. All my cats get in my face when I'm on the phone.

Iris Lillie Fields thanks for the helpful ideas. I got the garage door cracked and some of the litter box is in there, other parts of the litter box is on the back porch. I got a set of worn clothes on a clothes hanger on the back porch and by the front door (discreetly placed hard to see from the street but where the wind gets to them to carry the scent) put some food out but the neighborhood possum ate it a few hours ago, just went to put some more out and Mr possum was on my front porch waiting for a midnight snack.been walking the neighborhood looking and hoping he picks up my scent

If you have an attached garage, open it 6 inches and lock it into place, yes they do that. Put the litter box inside the door because your cats terrified won’t start moving until night. He’ll smell that litter box and come to it. The house is familiar and so he’ll he’ll go into the garage at night. If he’s not in your garage in the morning, put signs up like garage sale signs. I also put pamphlets on everybody’s doors, because a lot of people ignore our garage sale signs. But they will pick that pesky piece of paper off their front door and read it. It’s almost midnight if you’re a night owl like myself go out with a flashlight and look up in trees and under bushes and stuff to see if you can see his eye shining back at you.

Very frightened. These guys are local and can help get Fluffy back. My recommendation is kcpetsearchandrescue.com
