Message from Owner

He is an indoor cat, never been outside or loose. Has all his shots, neutered and declawed (front paws). Was outside holding him and a lady walking 2 dogs on the sidewalk, didn't see her approach because of a truck in the driveway. Upon seeing the dogs the cat jumped from my arms and took off running, tried catching him but the sun was setting and light was fading. Please respond to this post or text me at

Indoor cats usually stay very close to home, try going out after dark with a flashlight and look for the eyes. Good luck

Thank you for your ideas, put a set of recently worn clothes on the front and back porch. Food (his favorite treats) and water. Cracked opened the garage door. Got the ring cameras focusing on the ground by the front and back doors.

*Keep trying what's listed....All the best in your beautiful cat's return,~💜💜 **Cats that get outside, they tend to panic & hide, usually close to home. When it's dark out, go outside with a flashlight or headlamp & look under every bush, vehicles anything they might go to for safety around your home. Watch for their Eyes to light up with the beam of the flashlight. Let neighbors know, they sometimes will get locked in an open shed & Put posters up. Leave out some bedding/clothing of theirs & yours, but NOT the litter box. However some folks have set the litter box out with success - this is up to you. Going out with a bag of treats OR whatever your cat loves to eat... calling their name. IF at all possible to leave a window or door open, when it's quiet many have come back. Continue looking & calling. The cat is scared & hiding & may have been chased. REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT! ***IF you are traveling with your cat - USE A CRATE most cats are freaked at traveling in a vehicle, at the first chance they have they RUN, no matter how careful you think you are opening a door. For their safety = CRATE ****Consider building a CATIO if possible, fb/websites have many options. https://thefurbearers.com/.../catio-season-why-cat.../
