Thank you everyone!!! I used your tips, went out with a flashlight and a box of treats to shake. Called his name up and down the street that my husband spotted him on, but he took off the first time. I found him standing on the corner and he came to me luckily. He is home safe & sound !!! Thank u!

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Post Lost Posters. Walk the area at night with a flashlight. Take treats with you. Check the bushes and hiding places. May be scared and hiding. Keep looking. Good Luck. 🙏

There also is a Nextdoor group in the area that posts info about cats that show up unexpectedly. I can give you info on that too, if need.

My cat went missing in the area. The people are very helpful. Most cats who are domesticated will hang around the area, hiding if scared. Put out objects that smell like you and Goose. You also can set out a Have-A-Heart trap and lure Goose with food. I don't live in the area, but am familiar with it and can lend a trap if you need one. Traps arae also available from local rescues. I know three people nearby who feed local cats. You can contact me for their names and contact info.
