Put his bedding and dirty clothes outside and dirtier the better.Even hang it out side they can smell it for miles.put your dirty coat outside and they stay close to your house because they are scared to be outside and hiding in the shrubs and hedges Look for him in the evening softly calling his name with a flash light and don't give up this is how we got our cat back after 3weeks with the help of our vet. WARNING IF YOU LIVE OUT OF THE ENTER CITY YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE LITTER BOX 24 7 FOR OTHER ANIMALS AND PREDATORS ALL THE TIME please. Put his toys and bedding and cat tree on the porch and water and food and your dirty coat outside and check all the shelters close to you in person every few days. Ask your neighbor if you can ck their garage and sheds and gutters and on the roofs.

flyers on porches a block around. talk to neighbors. wont go far. be patient. inside cats get scared outside and may not answer when called. my blind cat was 5 doors down for 6 weeks. the neighbor kept the flyer and called me when she spotted my cat in her front bushes - where I had called my cat's name a million times.

So sorry!!!! Check under porches, decks, bushes, cars. Check window wells & storm drains. At night use a flashlight-eyes will reflect the light. They typically don't go far, search same areas multiple times. Put out a familiar scented clothing or blanket of theirs & yours🤍Scent can help them find home Alert your neighbors, vet clinics, shelters & mail person. Put up signs & post on Nextdoor app too! Check shelter daily🩶

Crack your garage a slight bit and will likely try to come home early morning when its quiet. Informative video on how to find your missing cat. https://www.facebook.com/374756619256467/posts/2701302119935227/

So sorry kitty is missing. My indoor only cat got out during construction and was missing for a week. Post on Next Door. If chipped, report missing to the chip company and ensure they have up to date contact info for you. File a missing report with the shelter online. I read indoor cats usually only stray 5-10 houses so I went door to door in a radius around my house and asked neighbors if I could search their backyards and under sheds. I also handed them a flyer. I walked around at night calling my cat and shining a flashlight in bushes to try to spot eyes. I cracked my garage slightly and put a lot of dirty laundry i.e. dirty sheets and blankets which helps with a scent trail. A neighbor spotted my cat in the storm drain closest to my house. I never thought to look there. It took 3 days after knowing she was in there until she came out. I do not have Ring, so I bought cheap motion sensor cameras and set them up at both doors that sent motion alerts to my phone.Good tips here: www.catsinthebag.org Paws crossed you are reunited soon.
