I’m sorry your baby is missing. Here are some tips that may help. An idea that has works if your kitty is nearby: Find cat sounds online, play them for about 45 seconds, stop, listen very closely, be very quiet. Try it four or so times in different places in your front and back yards and neighbors yards. Place YOUR dirty clothes outside up off the ground where the breeze will carry your scent. It may lure him back. DO NOT put out food, water, toys or litter outside because it attracts everyone else including ants. Open the door or window where he escaped from and crack your garage door so he can get back in 24/7. If it’s an indoor kitty it is really important he has a safe way back in so leave a door open (all day and night) as they typically try to return when it’s late hours and quiet. Check all of the bushes, shake noisy food and then be quiet and listen. He might meow but you might not hear them. Check trees, he could have been chased up one. Indoor cats don't usually go too far. Talk to neighbors. He might be camped out in their yard, and they don't know he is yours. Also, have them check their cameras. Post on Ring if you have it or ask neighbors to post on theirs. Put up signs on stop signs, community mailboxes, even put on neighbor's doors. Your neighborhood might have a FB page or email program. Important because, unlike dogs, people ignore roaming cats. If they see a post or sign, they will pay attention. IMPORTANT: Call the shelter and let them know your cat is missing so they can log it in their book. If he is chipped, call the chip company and let them know he’s missing and make sure your contact information is up-to-date. If they are not chipped, contact every vet in the area to let them know he is missing in case someone brings him for a chip check. I hope your kitty comes home soon! If you can put out something heavy with your scent he will smell it your scent travels further will be more familiar and is a comforting scent which should draw him back home. Put it in a safe but accessible place near the area he disappeared from or usually hangs out in. He will probably be near it hiding in not to long a time. I've read recently in several rescues that this technique works. And the scent will last even if it rains and you can change the item every couple days. Putting Flyers in mail boxes and local vets and businesses doesn't hurt. Ask delivery people and mail personnel if they would take a flyer and keep an eye out they are in neighborhood and might see him. Check shelters and vets let them know your looking and that way if he's brought in they are aware he's lost . Good luck don't be afraid to call every couple of days. If you see him do not run after him he might be scared call to him let him know it's you carry his favorite toy treat or blanket to help reassure him.

Don't give up keep looking best in evening when it's quieter and dont be afraid to keep calling and asking people resend flyers recheck places anyone who may have shown to much intrest in your cat positive or negative in today's world you never know better to cover all bases and check out every and all possibilities i hate to think like that but I didn't and it cost me dearly and I never want anyone to go through that.

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
