I’m so sorry to hear this. Apparently emptying the contents of your vacuum cleaner outside can help (please google). Putting unwashed clothing outside and changing it every two days can help the cat pick up a scent and find their way home, especially with spraying a familiar perfume or cologne. Put posters everywhere - shops, lamp posts, cafes and door knock. Male cats have a wider radius so post even in far away streets just in case. Animal Search UK and Pets Reunited might have more tips. I really hope he comes home x
