Amanda Joyce Malone she definitely looks and feels more like a collie mix. Fluffy, fluffy tail, pointy ears.

Kathy Faulkner Barr thank you for looking out. Unfortunately, this is not the same dog. This is a border collie female, and I found her near Fountain city/Millertown Pike in Knoxville.

If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. (IF able, try taking to a vet to check for a microchip too. Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.)

Thank You for being so Kind and helping this Pup! You may want to put the Pup on PawBoost.com They help find lost owners. Check with Neighbors where you found her and ask the area mailman—they usually know about pets in their area. Also, if you have a Neighborhood e-page you may want to put the Pup on there as well. They usually cover several Neighborhoods. Put up signs at intersections near where the Pup was found. Use neon colored poster board with bold black writing on them - and a picture if possible. Take the Pup to the Vet to be scanned for a chip to hopefully identify the owner. Be sure to ask for proof and Vet references (and look up the Vet and call them) and ask for pictures - most people have Pics of their pets on their phones, before you give the Pup to anyone who says it is theirs. Some people steal pets to sell or worse. Thank You again. The world needs more Kind people like you!!
