Message from Owner

Echo is a curious but cautious girl who has been with us for six years and means everything to our family. She is our first cat. Earlier this year, we lost our other beloved cat to a congenital kidney disease. We are still grieving that loss and cannot bear the thought of losing Echo too. She may be scared and hiding quietly somewhere nearby. If you live in the area, please check your yard, bushes, decks, garages, sheds, and security cameras. Any sighting or information could help bring her home. Please help us find our girl.

Alyssa Dillman Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately we think this is not our cat because the rosette pattern is different. Looks like this cat is caught and brought to animal rescue. πŸ™πŸ™β€οΈ

We’ve had a few possible sightings of our missing bengal Echo. Two people reported seeing a small, bobcat-like animal moving fast(but much more vivid/ "beautiful" / colorful than a bobcat), and one confirmed sighting verified it’s definitely a Bengal cat with long tail, and actively hunting (she caught a squirrel at the Salmon Run Natural Park in Issaquah). She seems to be adapting to the wild quickly. She’s roaming about 1.2 miles from home in areas with high coyote activity and moving up to a mile a day. She's cautious but not scared, and likely won’t respond to her name or be lured by dry cat food anymore. trapping her is very challenging. We set traps and cameras there but got nothing yet. Does anyone have experience or advice for trapping a wild-acting Bengal?

Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, basements, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas
