Can you set up a trap near where they went missing and do a watch? It would have to be after everything is quiet, later at night. Cover the top of the trap, bait it with something stinky like sardines. SCAT will loan a trap - you have to pay a deposit but you get it back on return. Do not just leave the trap there, you would have to sit in your vehicle and periodically check. I did this with a friend's cat in winter when it was below -30, we eventually trapped her... Would have been nice if it were summer 😁 Your cat will have likely gone under or in the first place they found that was sheltered, so think ground level, cracks in foundations, bushes, under any parked machinery or vehicles. They don't usually run far. Take a flashlight at night so you can see eyes. Because your bebe will be frightened they will most likely run from you; don't chase after them - use food as a motivator. Using a trap is a good idea.

Please remember to physically go to animal control and see if your cutie pie is there. In Saskatoon, we only have 4 days to reclaim our fur babies. After this, our furry family members become the property of animal control!! Praying for you all 💕🙏
